Social Anxiety and Social Phobia - Ginny Foy, MIAPH - Fareham, Hampshire

Here at my Hypnotherapy Centre near Fareham in Hampshire, treatment for social anxiety is very common. Social Anxiety, or Sociophobia, is a very broad term for a multitude of embarrassing symptoms. Briefly it is a fear of being around, having to interact with, being criticised, watched or negatively judged by others.

SYMPTOMS OF SOCIAL ANXIETY CAN INCLUDE:

  • Blushing or sweating or feeling hot and bothered when put 'on the spot'
  • Stuttering or stammering
  • Going 'blank' when somebody puts you 'on the spot'
  • Shaking
  • Feeling shy or lacking in confidence
  • Not wanting to be the centre of attention
  • Fear of being judged
  • Fear of failure
  • Fear of authority
  • Fear of eating in front of other people or writing in front of other people (e.g. signing cheques or filling out forms)
  • Shy bladder syndrome (also known as shy pee; bashful bladder; paruresis; toilet phobia)
  • Fear of public speaking or making presentations
  • Performance related anxiety including sexual performance, (Social phobics are usually good at concealing the above)
  • Fear of being scrutinised
  • Hating being criticised
  • Hating meetings especially at work or with bosses

These are just a few of the many symptoms of Social or Performance Anxiety but you don't have to hide away from the outside world any longer.

Social Anxiety (SA) is a condition that, for many, gets very little sympathy or help. For most of us it is hard to imagine that a get together with friends or a visit to your local pub or restaurant could mean a sense of dread that causes nausea, sweating, trembling, blushing and overwhelming anxiety. For people with Social Anxiety these are daily trials that have to be endured - but do they?

CURE FOR SOCIAL ANXIETY
Pure Hypnoanalysis is by far the fastest, easiest and gentlest way of dealing with this very common problem, plus the resolution is PERMANENT.

These symptoms are a result of cause and effect due to a bottled up emotion. At some time in your life you have pushed down the emotions created by an experience rather than expressing them - of course this experience could have occurred when you were too young to understand so you were not able to deal with the emotion.

Pure Hypnoanalysis will allow you to finally get rid of those old, unwanted and unnecessary emotions, in fact when you finish your therapy you will wonder how you could ever have had a problem with Social Anxiety.
